The Raghee Report Returns
August 27, 2011 (and five days before my 40th birthday)
Lately I have been thinking about a lot of things: My trading, my analysis, my writing, and sharing what I know and what I do. It’s got me really considering bringing the Raghee Report back. I have played with a number of layouts and like a blog the best. I actually have done the set up myself so this is far from some slick, commercial site…as you can obviously see. But I think it looks good and the information here, I think is great. I have been recording more video lately especially after I fell in love with doing a daily show at StockTwits TV. My blog grew in popularity but video wasn’t the ideal format for updates. My blog is a CNN Money partner and text is better for that relationship…but I missed sharing videos so the Raghee Report was taken off the back-burner.
So here’s what I have decided to do. This is 100% my site. No sales people, no staff, no tech geeks, it’s just me. I am posting the information right from my desk or on the road – wherever an idea strikes me I post it here. In fact my best friend just got me a MacBook Air as an early birthday present so I’m more mobile than ever! (Thanks P!) Some of the videos here will be freely available to anyone, no registration or anything like that. I will (eventually) have a place you can submit your email address if you’d like to, and I can send you special updates and videos so you know when there is something brand new posted.
CNN Money featured me a in recent article about the growth and popularity of retail forex trading.
Some of the content will be protected and not free. I am going to limit how many people can access it because frankly I want to be able to keep up with comments and questions as best I can. I will also have a more exclusive section where a very, very limited group of people can have access to me. This process will include some screening. I’m going to want to talk with you first before just to make sure it’s right for you. And honestly I want to make sure we click…
I don’t want to fuss with the business of these membership sites but I have also found that “free” is often unappreciated, overlooked, and unapplied. I hope you can understand and respect that I think my time is worth something. But the the Raghee Report is a fun and productive project for me, not a job, and not a business for me. Trading is.
I do hope you will join the Report, my “trading club”…you will have access to webinars and tutorials, and of course I’ll be posting my trading videos at the site so you can learn from and take advantage of the same opportunities you’d have if you were sitting next to me in my trading office. And by the way, I’ll share my futures trading ideas with you too because I know many of you trade futures and I want forex traders to understand how important my “Forex Market Pulse” (U.S. Dollar, Dow, crude, gold, and commodities) is to you forex trading.
